Single-use 11 gauge × 11 cm bone marrow aspiration needle with a non-fenestrated (closed-tip) cannula and sharp diamond-tip stylet. For protocols that require single-site marrow draw without side-port aspiration.
Caution: Federal (USA) law restricts this device to sale by or on the order of a physician.
The Ranfac RAN-11N is an 11 gauge × 11 centimeter single-use bone marrow aspiration needle with a non-fenestrated (closed-tip) cannula and a sharp diamond-tip stylet. The non-fenestrated configuration is preferred where single-site, distal-tip-only aspiration is required by protocol. Each needle ships sterile, ethylene-oxide processed, and individually packaged.
RAN-11N is the non-fenestrated 11 G × 11 cm companion to the standard RAN-11 — selected when protocol calls for single-site distal-tip aspiration rather than side-port multi-site draw. The 15 cm RAN-1115N is the deeper-reach non-fenestrated option in the same gauge.
The Ranfac Bone Marrow Aspiration Needle is intended for use in aspirating bone marrow, as determined by a licensed physician.
Practitioners use 11 gauge × 11 cm non-fenestrated bone marrow aspiration needles for diagnostic and therapeutic marrow harvest from the posterior superior iliac spine and anterior iliac crest, where single-site distal-tip aspiration is preferred to side-port multi-site draw.
Diagnostic marrow evaluation, lymphoma and leukemia workups, treatment monitoring, and metastatic staging.
Marrow harvest for orthobiologic preparations used adjunctively to surgical procedures, per physician direction.
Image-guided aspiration where single-site access or controlled marrow draw is preferred.
Used across hospital hematology and oncology suites, ambulatory surgery centers, and procedure rooms performing routine marrow harvests.

11 gauge with an 11 cm working length. The cannula is non-fenestrated (closed-tip) — aspiration is limited to the distal needle tip rather than side ports.
Same gauge and length — the RAN-11 has a fenestrated cannula (side ports) for multi-site aspiration. RAN-11N is the non-fenestrated companion for single-site draw.
Yes — see the RAN-1115N, the 11 G × 15 cm non-fenestrated configuration in the same family.
Yes. The Ranfac Bone Marrow Aspiration Needle family is cleared under 510(k) K131157, regulation 21 CFR 876.1075, product code KNW, device Class II, prescription-use only.
Sterilized by ethylene oxide (EO) and shipped sterile. The device is not made with natural rubber latex and is intended for single-patient use only.
The female luer-lock hub accepts any standard male luer-lock aspiration syringe. Most operators select 10–20 mL syringes for routine marrow aspiration. Avoid glass syringes — they may not seal properly and can fracture during aspiration.
